That pinkish horned humanoid seems really similar to the creatures that serve to mark the elements on the In Action of Conqueror on the official site. They serve as the Elemental mobs in this game. I'd imagine that one in particular is a fire elemental, given the huge pillar of flame behind it.
Horn-boy seem like a different race to me. Proportionally too normal to be a lalafell, ears too human to be elezen, ears not human enough to be a hyur. Not to mention there's no real discernible strap or cap to support the idea of horns as an accessory. Although this particular specimen is without a doubt a storyline character. The way his introductory shot was framed pretty much gives that away.
But just to be completely perplexing, he's not the original horned-boy character from the official site's mural concept art that originally spawned speculation of Gria. That would a long blonde haired, black eyed little chap wearing a different outfit.
So while that doesn't imply it's a playable race, it's very likely there's more than one of these things.
Another interesting thing to note.
He is surrounded by a uniformed contingent of Lancers, which bears a resemblance to Gridania's militant force - the WoodWailers. Seedseers are described as: "young oracles who guide the nation based on the will of the forest's elementals". Horn-boy is A) Young, B) oracle-like insomuch that he carries a staff, and C) is important enough to be flanked on all sides by no less than 6 guards. Then there is the thematic visual connection of the Horns - Both the Elementals and Horn-boy seem to have Horns, and it is the duty of the Seedseers is to commune with elementals.
