Eorzeapedia appears to be down right now, from what I'm seeing.

The game looks even better than the videos make it look.

I hope they're keeping the auto-translator. I also wonder if the JP client will list names of NA characters as "Surname Name" or if they will keep the "Name Surname" format.

If you look at the action menu pic, you can see the weapons classes which are currently implemented in the beta (H2H, sword, axe, bow, lance, shield, [unknown? x2], smithing and mining).

Let's hope this expands more in the upcoming months!

In the Marauder description, it says they also have the ability to throw axes, therefore increasing their range. This might interest people who were ruling out marauder because they felt it wasn't flexible enough. :)

That particular bit of info has been in the Marauder's description on the official website since the job has been added.

Sorry to rain on the parade : /

Still interesting though. I wonder how it will work in practicality. I doubt that SE will make Marauders run after their axes to retrieve them for re-throwing, heh. But honestly, I think it'd be just as silly if they're able to pull an infinite number of axes out of their pants to chuck.

The things I found most interesting were all on that action menuu: I saw ability costs, 30 slots and a 52 max AP, slots for traits and synthesis with max AP for them as well. Also the menu across on the other side had Retainer List. Could this be a way of searching through offline player's shops? All very interesting.
