Specifically I mean for the Netherlands, but I suppose that any EU version works, right? :)

Shameless bump, 'cause I really can't find anything except amazon.co.uk which doesn't ship anywhere else but the UK, yet there were people running around saying the pre-order is already sold out at places. x')

Your best bet is to wait until they update the EU site. The US version already has been updated and it has a 'pre-order' now button. Really irks me that they stall on the EU update, I guess its because they have more languages to translate it into.

I was getting upset this morning when I noticed play.com (or any other UK based online retailer) didnt have XIV for preorder. I thought it was the beginning of the EU once again being months behind. Then literally 10 minutes later Play.com sent me an email saying that the regular and collectors ed of XIV was now available for preorder!

Needless to say, I pre ordered :)

They ship to the Netherlands, and postage is free. It takes around 7-10 days to post to Europe so you will probably not get it for "release day" but you will get it at least :)

Usually with most games I preorder from play, I actually get it the day before the game gets released, its weird lol.

Yeah Play.com are really cracking when it comes to deliveries. Id say nearly half of the games I've pre-ordered have been delivered the day before they were supposed to be released! Not that its going to do anything for an MMO other than serve to make me even more impatient for that final day to come around, but hey what the ****! Maybe I can read the instruction manual while enjoying a refreshing beverage in my Adventurers Themed Tumbler!(TM)

Thanks for the link. (:

Do you live in the UK as well then, Pinkfyre?

If they have EMS I'll just go for that, heh. Things I import from the UK tend to get stuck at customs for 1-2 weeks, though. If it happened this time..ungh. Haven't gotten that with amazon yet, though, so I might go for that instead...

Is there any difference between a UK version and, ehm, the rest of EU? That sounds weird but you know, lol.
