Are they set now? I noticed that disciple of land is miner (no fishing) and there are only 5 "Combat classes" along with 2 magic. Aynone know if this is the final list for release or what?

Nope no one is really sure yet.

This is pretty much everything we know that can be disclosed outside the NDA.

I read in an interview they have many more decided, and more will be included at the time of release. So it is safe to say we will see more on release day than what they have currently in the beta.

I'd be pretty bummed too. I hope this time around they scrap that ridiculous music and just leave it the way it used to be; quiet and relaxing.

Sorry if anyone liked the mini-game thing, it just ruined fishing for me.

While I totally agree with you, and I enjoyed fishing more before the mini game, when it was relaxing and I could drink beer while doing, I could see why they made it the way they did.

The early version of fishing in FFXI was simply far to easy to be botted, and there was only so much that creating "fatigue" could do to combat it.

From taking a look at http://ffxiv.zam.com/wiki/Armoury_System_(FFXIV)

This new Famitsu article confirms a few known jobs.

It also briefly discusses breakable parts on monsters.

I'll be a little angry if Bard isn't there from the start. They've talked about it, it might just hit in the first expansion.

Otherwise, I doubt this is the final list.

I stumbled upon a chart, with about 25 "classes" complete with abbreviations for English, Japanese.. and... German?? I've been looking for it the last couple of days.. Can't seem to find it online anywhere or even in an old posting here. Which makes me wonder.. Where did i see it? Can anyone confirm/post this up? Or has it already been deemed a hoax? (Or major NDA violation).

Meanwhile.. I'll continue digging through some TEMP files on my computer....

Yes deronguerra, that's around. Would probably be deleted if posted here though.

Check the FFXIV section on Reddit.
