To be honest, I am actually looking forward to the new ones. I haven't been a part of an MMO launch since FFXI (I've dabbled in most of the games on the market, but never at launch), and I am really looking forward to watching this game evolve in the coming years. I'm sure there will be some painful times, as there are in every game, but this is the most excited I have been for a launch since Dragon Warrior 3.

Update days are always fun.

To see what was changed, what was added... it's almost better than playing itself!
We really want to compete against World of Warcraft and for example the new Star Wars MMO.

Nothing like not paying attention to the warnings, I mean notices, and logging in to find you've won the Surprise Server Maintenance Lottery!!!

It was fun for HNM junkies since server updates reset the pop timer for all the HNMs so I remember there being a game to see who could get to what HNM first with a full LS and down it.

At least give the list of patch changes so it can be reviewed while you are waiting.

After the patch is finally done, it's play time! Not sit-around-and-read-the-patch-notes time.

I didn't want to touch a thing for fear I would corrupt the process and have to start over!

Patch notes can just scroll down the screen, on repeat, while the progress bar fills.

I'd really like to see some sort of P2P action going on for patches. Or at least the option of having that if the patch server is too congested.
