I noticed in one of the screenshots that one of the rewards for the completed guildleve was 5 faction credits and a "faction bonus" Brotherhood of the Broken Blade.

Has there been any information released with any insight to that? What is it? What does it mean?

Factions give you faction leves. It's sort of like a mini-conquest within a city. There are different NPC factions that compete for influence. Not a lot is known about it and what is is difficult to explain.

Good games are subjective like good food is subjective. You're not going to seriously tell me that there's not a psychological basis for why pizza is great and lutefisk is revolting. The thing about subjectivity is that, as subjects go, humans actually have a great deal in common.

I've been very curious about this as well Autumnfire, perhaps it is something similar to FFXI equivalent to Conquest Points? Turn them in for items etc.?

Yeah, you get rewards for working for a faction, the factions compete for influence over the region. Not much more is known at this point.

Thanks, Kachi! That sounds like it could be pretty fun! Well at least that little bit of info satiates my curiosity about it for the time being.

I thought I'd just bump this thread instead of creating a new one. Do we have any information not already listed here about how Faction Credits get used? I'm sure there are many of us in the dark on this one.

In the beta Faction leves were rank 20+. Faction leves were distributed by the same NPC that gives out regular guildleves in each city. Each leve required a certain amount of faction credits in order to take part, if i rememeber right.

I see, any idea if you actually have to be rank 20+? Or is that just a recommendation? Also, are these soloable if you're the proper rank?

If you go to the Leve dude he will offer you faction based Leves that cost appropriate faction tokens. Hypothesis: use tokens, buy faction leves, receive bacon loot

I want bacon...when you first choose Faction leve's, there is a number in parenthesis next to the faction group. Any idea what that is?

Maybe the number is how many faction credits you need to do that particular faction's levequest....just speculation.
