if i really unterstood with the debit card... yes i have one ... thats what i call the student card from the bank ... but it works with maestro ... nobody on the internet works wih this system (amazon, ....)
I'm on the University in Liège... in Belgium.
there is no bubble around me ... we have just another way to live ... there are no 24 hour shops ( or not alot) there are no burger kings ... shame on us
no mc donalds every 100 meters or feet ( but we have mc donalds ^^)
i can tell you other things you don't have ^^
1) I've always wondered what Maestro is. I've seen "We accept..." pictures that list Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, and other stuff I've never heard of or seen like JCB, Diner's Club, Maestro. Interesting. But yeah, the card will likely have to have a Visa or a MasterCard logo to be accepted by FFXIV.
2) You never really realize what you have until you hear from someone that doesn't have it. I never thought I'd be saying this, but your post almost makes me glad I have a McDonalds a block and a half away. Wish it were a Taco Bell or a Quiznos, but hey, it's better than nothing.
EDIT: and guardian, as i can see you have something in french in your signature
if you will we can talk in french ... see further ...
Europe is not bad you learn more in history and you learn more languages .... personally my english is so bad because i haven't practiced for 2 years ... but my german and my french is perfect ... my motherlanguage is Luxembourg ( so it's more than perfect ^^ )and i can speak Dutch (not practiced since 2 years xD )
That's another thing about European countries; most kids grow up speaking 2-3 languages on average. America is one of the few countries in the world where most youth aren't bi/trilingual at a young age.
