I'll always have access to my girlfriends computer and account, so I'll probably dual box some, but not to any large degree.

Maybe when the price of a system that can run the game decently drops to $2-300. -_-

Looks like it will probably be more challenging to dual box due to the game's mechanics, yet not impossible I tell yo, where there's a will there's a way

The lack of auto-attack would make it pretty hard i would think. I suppose you could just have yourself a pocket healer and the like but not much more.

I'm sure people will be able to make auto-heal or auto-attack bots, to make it easier to dual box.

It's already going to cost me a decent amount to upgrade my PC for a single box, so I doubt I would dual box any time soon.

Nah, I hopefully will not be. I only ever dual boxed in XI because it was so darn near impossible to solo effectively for any decent amount of xp, hoping I won't have that problem in XIV.
Q: How many SE employees does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: None, it's working as intended.

I never had too much trouble soloing esp. after fields of valour. I loved soloing as a taru BLU/WHM... then again I never broke 50 with it but as a player I am pretty chill. I don't care much about capping jobs and the like.

Given that you don't have to go through POL, I'm wondering if FFXIV will allow multiple clients running on one machine. Of course you'd still need two accounts, and I imagine performance would suck, so actually nevermind.

At least these days, it's easy enough to hook up a PS3 to a PC monitor, so you can run them side by side if you go that route. I remember some people who would have to set up a big TV next to their computer to go PC and PS2 at the same time. Yikes.

When it comes out for PS3 yeah. Until then, no way I'm buying 2 computers lol. That's good though. Gives me 6 months or so to build up a character to pl myself with or whatever. Hopefully it comes out sooner than that though, crossing my fingers for you ps3 dudes.
