It seems that most MMO these day have a place in the option menue to bring up a guide. In Aion you could look stuff up it was a great a idea. It would bring you to the Aion web page but u could always Surf the web or go a different guide for the game. If you got bored you could jusr surf the web while still being logged in.

I know their are the PS3 to think about but you can use the PS3 to surf the web, but it really sux.

I'm okay with the idea of an in-game browser, but don't see it as likely. At least on PCs, they seem to be encouraging windowed mode (probably because we pestered them about it for six years!) over fullscreen, so we'll be able to have a browser open anyway. And yeah, the PS3 has its own built-in browser, though I don't believe you can use it while playing a game, so I'm not sure how useful that would be.

We only pestered them for windowed mode so we could alt-tab to browse and look stuff up, not because we wanted to play in windowed mode. They made it so that essentially people had to use a third party program if they needed to look stuff up while playing (if they only had access to the one PC) and let's be honest, if you were doing anything other than xp grinding, you generally had your browser open for something. I can't imagine they don't want their game to run in full screen... at least I really hope that's the case. Playing ANY game windowed sucks; it totally breaks whatever immersion they're hoping for.

I as well don't see the likelihood of an in game browser... would the PS3 even be able to handle that kind of thing?
