Does FF XIV support dual CPUs? Go hard or go home right..

Dual processor motherboards are usually for server workstations. The current batch of Intel Xeon chips are basically i7s.

Pretty much overkill in any home application.

Pretty much doesn't matter. The overwhelming majority of the work in FFXIV is being done by your GPU(s), not your CPU(s). CPU just needs to be good enough to not want to hang itself when you play the game, after that it's all on the video card

Yes, there are no programs that wont run on a server motherboard with 2 sockets. The workload will be spread out with all the cores, but you wont see any performance gain vs a single socket i7 @ the same GHz. I used to own a server workstation with two Xeon 5520s(8 cores/16 threads), they dont provide any performance gain in gaming.
