For those who were curious on how much of an increase it was from upgrading a gtx280OC edition to a stock gtx 470.

Low Benchmark - 4,910 to 5,436 (10.7% increase)

High Benchmark - 2,956 to 3,855 (30.4% increase)

I found this to be acceptable since I got the card for 260$ with rebates. I plan on ocing both my i7920 and gpu some, so 4k is an easy go on high.

Thought it would be helpful information to those contemplating an upgrade.

This seems to be in line with what a lot of people have seen. Higher end GPU = better performance boosts on High than Low (assuming your CPU doesn't bottleneck you).

Yeah, you can only overclock something so far. Pretty nice boost in performance.

That's a very nice deal. The cheapest 470 where I live is about $400.

****, that's better than the deal I got today. I got 20% off, but they only had the superclocked edition available, but I still got it for 283$. I'm pretty **** happy.
