El Paso, TX (No, it's not a city in Mexico...)

I have no friends locally that play. Although, as often as I have been hanging out at a local Gamestop that might change. It took me over six years before I met someone who had also played XI.

Another San Diego head here. Played FFXI for 2 years a few years back so i'm semi-seasoned. Hoping XIV addresses the problems that were rampant in XI. We should all hook up and try to be on the same server :)

Sounds good man, just jump on a server with shinwalker and I will join the same server when I start up :)

Ogden Utah here. I know I am not the only person from my area to play XI, or will be playing XIV, but I have yet to meet one.

Does it matter? In Canada we ALL live in igloos, and tell stories around the fire about the great moose talking to the little quirl saying things like "Hey rocky, Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat"

Of course living in igloos with ice all year around really lets us overclock our systems, makes a great heater :P

Please don't refer to me as Shinwalker...it just sounds weird :P

Like I said earlier, if there's an Asura server I'll be there. It would be a good idea for everyone posting to start grouping by region/time zone etc. There are enough of us from CA to raise a respectable ruckus.

Harrisburg, PA here. My fiancee and my brother will be playing XIV. We were all in XI together and it's gonna be great starting all again. We had such a great LS and friends on the Sylph server, I hope XIV will be the same!

Ha, I've actually been through there for work. My firm has a job site out near Smileyberg.

I live in Dallas.

Heh small world =). I'm not from here, just moved here about 2 years ago for my job, much rather have been in wichita but what can ya do? I actually never heard of smileyberg because i'm from more NE kansas, so I don't know all the little tiny towns around here. Had to look it up on a map and would never know it was there.
