Would help if you posted your CPU, RAM, and GPU. There are a number of configuration options at purchase and I have no way of knowing which ones you took.

Sorry about that. Thought I copy pasted the specs.

Quad i7 1.6(ghz) Turbo Boost to 2.8

Blu-ray HDMI bla bla bla

NVIDIA GeForce GT330 M 1GB VRAM

6GB RAM

Windows 7 64GB

Assuming these specs:

Looks decent, but personally I would go for a laptop with an upgradeable video card instead. I don't know a whole lot about laptop graphics cards, but the 330M doesn't do very well, according to PassMark: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

My guess is that you'd probably be able to play it, but I wouldn't expect it to run super-smoothly at high settings.

I wouldn't recommend a GT or a GTS for a -desktop-.

Considering that laptop GPUs perform worse than their desktop counterparts in every possible way, that means that the GT330M is going to be even worse.

If you -must- have a laptop, I would strongly consider a GTX400 series or a Radeon 5850/5870 or higher.

Get an Asus G73 or an MSI E7405-080US

Good luck.

This isn't terribly related, but I didn't want to create a thread just for this.. Does anyone know how easy or difficult it is to finance a PC on a monthly basis? I'm under the impression that it's easy, as long as you're employed.. Would you have to have a truly awful credit score to be turned down on a $1,000 - $1,600 computer if you're employed?

I wouldn't mind paying for it over 2 years, if I had to - it'd help my credit, and that's about as long as I plan on using it. Just hope I can get approved. Appreciate any thoughts.

The problem isn't getting the credit: usually they'll "find a way" to get you the credit. The problem is it may be attached to a card with a yearly fee, an astronomical interest rate, and terms and conditions that would make any civilized person boggle that such things could happen in the free world.

It can't hurt to try ^^
