Question about the collectors editionFollow

Does anyone know how Square-Soft will go about this to those who pre-order the collectors edition that will get the 8 day early access?

I have called a few game stores and even emailed Square-soft but no one seems to have an answer.

You get 8 days of early access by virtue of the fact that the product is released 8 days earlier

Early access just comes from having a copy of the game 8 days in advance.

Try Emailing to Square-Enix instead of Square-Soft maybe then you might get a reply.

In b4 someone impolitely point out that it is SE that will releasing FFXIV. :D

Just a little bit of razzing. Nothing serious.

I was gonna take it back to the 80's and think of Square. Period.
Remember Rad Racer on the NES? :P
Ah, Final Fantasy was their goose that laid a golden egg.

That was the first video game I ever played. And those 3d glasses confused the living **** out of me (found out much later my eyes won't work properly with those)

At least you got the glasses. I think I got the game in a trade, and I had no idea why it went all blurry when you hit the Select button. To this day, I wonder how awesome were the 3D effects! :)

Could be worse, he could have said "Square-EA" (Remember THAT?!)

Yeah, servers will be on on the 22ndish, so the people who get the CE 8 days before the Regular edition releases should only have to install and play.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_EA#Square_Electronic_Arts

Most of their games published between 1998 and the formation of Square-Enix in 2003 were published in NA by Square-EA, even though the name was not on the cover. So Final Fantasy IX and X were in some way, shape, or form handled by Square-EA.
