You should be fine with that. If you were doing 2x 480gtx, you might run into that issue.

You could always overclock your CPU too. Just be sure you've got a decent power supply to handle the SLI load. Even though the 460 isn't a power hog, you're still running two. 650w should be fine I'd imagine.

Actually, if you're going with two 460s, I'd recommend a 750W power supply. If you're going to overclock, get an 850W.

Also, you need to make sure your motherboard supports both AM3 socket and SLI. There are only a handful in the market today (which I'm completely bummed because none of them is sold where I live). Here's the list:

I will say out of that list, I just purchased and built yesterday a setup with one of those motherboards, specifically :

ASUS M4N98TD EVO AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

I have yet to OC either my GPU (470) or the processor (965 BE 3.4) yet, and this thing is pretty **** fast.

My score on high was 3200, low was 4400, which will go up once better drivers are released and, when I overclock this bad boy! Right now just want to make sure temps are all good, hehe.

I have the AMD 965 BE OC to 4.0Ghz and a EVGA GTX 470 OC to 800mhz clock speed stock is 600mhz. I get 4100 high settings 5000 low settings.
