music in FFXIVFollow

A lot of the music sounds too much like midi files. I guess Nobuo is stuck in the eighties ^^

BTW the Chocobo theme always reminds me of this song, which is a bit sad really:

I agree. The quality of the synthesized instruments is very impressive, but nothing beats the real thing. There's really no excuse to use midi-based music for games in this day and age. Heck, even Suikoden Tierkreis on DS has a full-fledged orchestra playing several of the songs from the soundtrack.

I still think they could take the FF12 and FFT soundtracks and mash them together, toss that into 14, and I'd be happy.
