Hey folks, just making this post cause I'm kinda interested in what people are doing to bide their time till XIV releases. I'll start with myself. At night I'm working on beating the mass of games I have installed on my pc so I can uninstall them to make room on my game drive, bouncing between, Evil Genius, Dwarf Fortress, and Dragon Age. During the day I'm working around the house and trying to figure out how my car is going through oil when I can't find any leaks and I haven't smelled any burning oil.

Chances are, nothing at all.

Doing stuff while waiting for something, makes me think about it more.

I'm trying to raise my skill level at Blazblue Continuum Shift on the PS3 beyond the prowess of hitting someone with a wet paper bag. Oh and the Starcraft 2 campaign is keeping me most occupied as well.

I still spend a lot of time looking for new info on FFXIV even though I know I won't find much. It's sort of become a quotidian routine for me.

Bouncing back and fourth between Street Fighter 4, Counter-Strike, and Dragon Quest 9. Also trying to find a good (PC) game to play once I'm done with DQ9. Chrono Trigger has always been my favorite game of all time and I guess now's a good time to try out Chrono Cross.

Right on! I actually still have a ps one setup out here just for games like Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross & FF7/8/9. Just started FF7 again this morning, that should keep me busy as I wait on my new computer.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope on PS3. Actually liked it far better than FF13. Speaking of FF13, I suppose I'll finally go back and beat it at least. Will probably be the only FF game I have not played through until there was nothing else to do/find. Think I have less than few hours left in it, just lost my motivation toward the end.

Oh yeah and Anime. Have nearly 4TB worth of the cracklikestuff and it doesn't help that utorrent never stops running. Also have quite a few movies (especially after I made iso's of all my DVD's) and a few TV series stored. I had been thinking about trying to build an external raid array of 6-8TB or so and transferring everything over. I'll probably just settle for another 2tb drive instead since I'm planning on picking up a 5870 before Sep 22. Had to spend a bit more than I wanted to on a new window A/C. God it was worth it though...

I couldn't get into Chrono Cross; granted I haven't actually played it for 10 years. I just remember saving at the wrong spot and having to backtrack quite a bit to level up more.

There's really nothing holding me over game-wise at the moment. I'm busy IRL and just bought a road bike, so I'm doing that. I beat dragon age for PC a while ago and my Xbox is stored away for the time being.

It's kinda like I'm a boxer on, uh..abstinence. I can't wait for FFXIV.

Yeah it took me a while to like ff8, and even now I have to really be in the mood to play it again. Of course I have to do everything, and that means playing Triple Triad so sometimes I remember that and pop in FF7 instead.

The innate element stuff in chrono cross is really interesting, that's the game I thought of when I heard we would put stats into elements in XIV. and conjurer having the Purge ability that "renders the target's elemental alignment neutral."

I'm actually playing through Chrono Trigger now. Thought I'd pick up Dragon Quest 8 if I finish that.

Mostly though, I'm killing my free time researching PC components and shopping. I want to get into XIV as soon as I'm able with a machine I'll be happy with for at least a few years.

Besides my job which I patrol the streets of Albuquerque on graveyard, I have been playing Star Craft 2 on my new rig I built for FFXIV and I can play SC2 on maxed out settings and the movies play really well. My buddy came over and was all ****** cause the little avatars of Jim and such actually move in the game when they speak and on his pc all it does is freeze his game up. Too bad they didn't release Civ 5 now or something. But I just pray the next month and a half go by really quick.

Been playing a new Dark Templar in Age of Conan myself. Figured it would help me pass the time as I haven't played it for awhile. Other than that I have been studying up on Archery Bow making and working on some staves... at least when it is not 100+ outside.

I just bought Crysis off of Steam, but the game is terrible (looks very nice on Very High, though). I don't dare to try and finish/start FF13, since I couldn't force myself to play it for more than 5 hours. So I'll probably pick up Valkyria Chronicles tonight and see how far that gets me. Between work and maybe taking on a few Android apps (FFXIV-related suggestions are welcome), I'll probably get to mid-August before I need to worry about the next game to get :)

So I have been trying to stick with MW2 even though I am sick of all the dang hackers and what not. Just not that fun anymore.
