I was just LMAO at myself and was wondering if any one else gets excited every time and i mean every time they open there email hopeing to see a beta invite. Then when there isnt anything from SE i always go threw my spam filter with a fine tooth comb so to speak. Never thought id be soo ridiculously sprung on this one. So there it is anyone else want to share there ocd FFxiv story with me?

Forgot to include that i do this like 10 times a day! haha

do you count everytime you do it? Or check your emails a specifi number of times before you close the browser? If not then its not ocd :P

I don't check my emails much for it though. I've given up on getting a beta invite from square. I've signed up a few different times on their website (even just for emails about any SE game) and I've ok'd it and they're not in my spam, yet I never get anything from them. So that's why I gave up. And I know I should be getting stuff because my hubby gets emails to his inbox...

Speaking as somebody with a bit of OCD ... not really, no :P

At this point, I am still waiting for my new PC to arrive so a Beta invite wouldn't mean a whole lot yet. My laptop only got around 640 on the low res benchmark xD. Also, already got 2 friends in the Beta so I can just bug them.

However, back when I played FFXI, for the longest time I would go through my whole inventory and equipment screen multiple times to make sure nothing was missing before logging off >_>; Especially after getting something new.

I've pretty much lost hope in getting into any MMO betas from now on...seems everyone I know gets into a betas I've applied for but I'm the odd man out.

My last hope is this beta giveaway pikko's got going on. If I don't get that I'm slitting my digital wrists and ending my life in this cruel cruel eorzea.

Indeed, sharing the same addictions/obsessions is good...

Unless it's Heroin. Then it's not so much a good thing. For proof please reference Requiem for a Dream.

Gotta love how quickly you can get lost on the internetz...I looked up stuff on Requiem for a Dream which led me to youtube watching one of my favorite comedians talk about drugs and then onto videos talking about DMT "The Spirit Molecule"...

OMG I so can relate. I never knew there were so many MMO's out there. I think I can name all the F2P and P2P one's now, oh and even those that haven't been released yet!

Youtube, ya it's totally evil. I start out with MMO videos and end up watching some dumb guys blog. I think it's called Trippy something I forget, but yeah thats sad isn't it lol. I mean to go from videos of a game you can't get enough info on, to videos of some dork saying he's goin on a boat as he looks at his dog in the back seat of the car. I dunno if it's the video thats more sad or the fact that I watch it lmao.

Sorry and no disresepct intended if you are the owner of Trippy Charlie's blog or whatever it was. I'm sure life could be worse than getting to go on a boat. ^ ^

On the 8th day God saw that they were sad and lonely, God then threw down a Squarenix staff member and thus was born the male Miqo'te.

At least on youtube, if you follow it long enough, you end up in a bunch of videos with just a few hundred views and you know they'll all suck, so you can just close it out with no regrets. On Cracked, every article links to more articles, and they're all worth reading, and you probably haven't read them all yet. That place is the sort of time sink that SE only wishes they could incorporate.

Couples they play together, stay together. Especially in the nude. Just saying.

Always fun lol, Although my cirrent GF and i have very littel in common but its still working amazingly well. We just need to make sure to put aside some time to do things we both enjoy, and listen to eachother even if its something were not that intrested in. And yes we both talk abotu things other one not that intrested in sometimes, but still gives us things to do together, with our without clothes lol ;).
