Is this good for gaming?

Intel® Core™ i7 930 Quad Core Processor (2.8GHz, 8MB Cache)
Dual 1GB GDDR5 ATI Radeon™ HD 5670 CrossfireX
9GB Triple Channel 1333Mhz DDR3.

It is decent and will run XIV on low settings fine and possibly on high settings with lag. I would personally upgrade the GPU to something like the GTX 460 or Radeon 5850 for more budget builds or GTX 480 or Radeon 5970 for all out rigs.

I'd echo what Burton said, and also add that you can dial back that RAM as it's overkill and use those funds for a better GPU.

9 gb of RAM is useless for gaming, or so I've heard. 4-6 GB is fine.

Agreed. Lower the ram to 6Gb and use the saved money to upgrade the videocard(s).
