Can I get some pro/cons on this build along with any additional things I would need to buy? I've never built a rig before but am going to give it a go.

Motherboard

Dont get a last gen Mobo if your gonna get a i7 960 P6x58D-E or premuim I would suggest

Proc up to you I7 930 is plenty imo specially with the mobo i suggested

rest looks good imo

More ram then id ever use lol (least for now) lookes good. should run teh game quite well. Not sure if you would nneed more of a power supply or not though but 750 is preety good.

I'd also up the power supply if you plan on adding another card eventually so you wont have to later. 12 gig ram is a bit overkill, everyone on here is recommending 4-6, but if you want to be completely set on upgrading for years, have at the 12 gigs

I don't understand what you mean....what mobo are you recommending? Wouldn't I also need some cooling fans or are they packed with some of the other things I listed? I'm pretty much a noob at anything computer related.

Cons -

6GB is all you need
Onboard sound is all you need

If you want to blow the money on the 960 and the 5970, that's your choice, but a 930 and a 5870 is fine.

my bad.. Its a Asus P6x58D-E or P6x58D Premuim.. Not much diff between the 2 other than price and a extra heat tube thingy that runs it a lil cooler..

This Mobo i recommend has socket for the new 6 core Intels.. So you could even go to the 6 core and really over kill everything in one shot.. I only recommend it because of the overclockablity and is the new generation P6T, also the upgradablity to the new 6 core Intels down the road
