Open recycle bin, place torrent files inside, delete. Then use the proper FFXIV utility provided to you.

I was going to go with something involving forceful insertion and a ****** but this works as well.

No, it -is- called for. The SE downloader is P2P and only works if people use it.

So people who use torrents INSTEAD are the ones who make it NOT work. The OP is contributing to the very problem he is complaining about. It's like not going to a club because no one goes to that club. It's a catch 22.

As more people use torrent programs instead of the SE downloader, the SE downloader will remain slower than it could be.

I apologize... I didn't mean to sound negative but... we really aren't supposed to use other torrent programs than the one SE provided. They asked nicely for us not to do it and some accounts got banned over it. I just don't want that to happen to anyone else.

Whether it's RMT or botting or anything in general, if you're going to publicly announce that you're doing **** that SE has specifically said "Hey, don't do this", I hope those people get banned.

I don't mean to sound negative, and I don't apologize, but I do. If you're not going to follow ******* instructions, then don't sign up for a beta test. they can't fix the problems with their system if people aren't using their system. The end result is that they can't get proper feedback and they end up with more bugs in the retail product.

yeah, i see you're point, but i am sure he didn't realize SE was telling people to do otherwise. so i just assume the damage has been done. Might as well tell him where to put the files. but again, i understand the argument.

Are you sure you had everything set up correctly with the downloader?

I was averaging between 1.3 to 1.9M on the download. It took about a half hour to update.
