Is that gridania?
It isn't what dies that matters, it's what dies inside you while you're living that does.

Yep, they looked at both Gridana and Uldah. The green area is Gridania.

Didn't read the article, hahaha as much as I like to know a lot about XIV I definitely don't wanna ruin EVERYTHING. I still want a surprise for when I first log on.

Probably jumped the gun and accidentally posted the article prematurely.

Yea, I think it was a premature post. Most likely to be shown after the Gamescon announcement.

Aww, I missed the boat.

Mikhalia: and FWIW, my posts are 95% helpful, informative, or funny.
Mikhalia: only 5% or less of my posts are utter crap.
Tyapex: 393 posts of utter crap...
Mikhalia: Sounds about right.

Aww, I missed the boat.

It was an incredible, 18-page ride.

And I only got to read the first page because my lunch break was over.

It was 3 pages, I know as I had another window with it open on just now. (refresh sent it into the ether though)
However, it was also mostly cloned (how complete I don't know) here....

(text starts exactly the same as original article so assume the same)

IGN has a new article up from the same event. Pretty much the same deal, give or take.

The textures in a few of the screenshots textures look exactly like high res versions of textures from tahrongi canyon and meriphataud mountains. even some of the foliage looks like high res versions of FFXI's. Makes me wonder if they didn't take some of the original high res artwork that went into FFXI and reuse it (texture artists rarely create textures at postage stamp size even if they eventually get downsampled to low res)

Adjust the resolution of menus.
The main screen resolution for "FINAL FANTASY XI" is dependent on the "Overlay Graphics Resolution" setting.
If the Overlay Graphics Resolution is set higher than the Menu Resolution, menus will be automatically resized.

I thought of it first:

Is it March yet? The wait is maddening! The write up sounds awesome, I can't wait to get my hands on this game. The 6 month head start you PC players get in going to be like torture for me. On the bright side, I can learn a little about the different classes and possible combos till then...... Is it March yet?
The more I train, the harder I get. The harder I get, the more lethal I am. The more lethal I am, the fewer opponents. The fewer opponents, the less to lose. The less to lose, the more I let up. The more I let up, the more room for mistakes. The more room for mistakes, the more I train.
