Here you go...

Keep in mind that if you received your key from fileplanet then you don't have the same access to the forums as everyone else. IIRC you can't even report bugs! (kinda puts a damper in the whole "it's a beta not a demo!!!!1!one!" line)

I believe this is what you're looking for:

https://dev-na.ffxiv.com/

You can find it on the official twitter feed, they repost it every so often.

Are you serious? What's the point of that?

Removing the ability to leave any sort of feedback about the game really DOES turn it into a demo, a bad one at that

I have a fileplanet key and have been able to post feedback, although it keeps resetting my profile with different names, which doesn't matter much to me. I just want my feedback posted. And honestly, most of what I've posted has been posted dozens of times by other testers. Most of the issues people are finding with beta are universal.

My guess is that most of the serious testing is being done in house anyways.

One really goofy problem I've had with the beta forums though is that I cannot access them from my macbook pro, which is where I spend all of my computer time when I'm not gaming. It probably has something to do with their forums not supporting Safari, but it irritates the **** out of me. Some of my best feedback comes to me when I'm sitting on the toilet and it's just too hard to remember everything and get it transferred to the pc desktop. :D

Toilet Web Browsing. I endorse it.

All you're there to do is add to the server load for SE. If they had to look through an extra thousand people's posts on their forums they would never get anything done. Kinda sad though considering how many of the different feedback posts I have read over there are to make the game more WoW like. Example: "Please add a giant ! over the quest npc. It takes too long to find the correct npc currently."

Never mind the fact that you can mark it on your map, but combined with the fact that they tell you the npc's name... >.>

Yeah, I've been experiencing the same inability to post feedback on the beta forums too.

There just happens to be no reply button, and I haven't been able to find any way to "register" or "confirm my account."

Does anyone have any suggestions? I know I have to be doing something wrong.

Nope, for some people there's simply no ability to reply. The majority of keys given out are "server cattle" keys. I've only heard of a few rare people who got their keys for Phase 3 and can post.

An old alpha member told me only they can post in the true feedback section forums and most people have to settle for posting in the discussion forums.

That's the most insane way to run a beta I've ever heard of.

The entire point of having ordinary players test your stuff is because they'll think of things you didn't. You want feedback from all these people (btw reading forums is what community reps are for) because they have an additional pair of eyes and hands (usually) and the can do things that someone else may just have never considered doing.. like let's see: What if in the middle of a guildleve, I stab this thing, and then run down this hillside where he can't get to me, the hillside is a zillion yards away, but I can make it.... How many people with feedback access are going to necessarily think to do that, ok, now how many of those represent every class possible, or disciples of the hand/land?

More people = more people breaking things = fewer bugs in your game
