Question about skills/equipsFollow

With FFXIV release approaching, I'm starting to build my character slowly. (A shame I've got to wait for the PS3 release, though.)
Anyway, I was wondering if someone could answer these questions, if it's not too much trouble:

1) Can you wear any kind of armor as any "class"? For example, a Conjurer wearing heavy armor? If so, any penalties?

2) Can you use any weapon skill with any weapon? For example, using Damnation (Thaumaturge skill) while wielding a sword?

3) How harsh are the penalties for using cross-disciplines skills? Like a Gladiator casting magic or a Conjurer using Provoke?

4) Does Bloodbath (Marauder skill) only affects melee attacks? If not, can you use it with spells?

5) How many actions points do you start with? And how many do you earn as you level, more or less?

I'd really appreciate if someone could answer them. Thanks in advance!

1. i've no idea
2. I believe it is the same as using different skills
3. I've read that a skill from a class that you aren't currently will be half as effective than using it with the class that learned it.
4. no idea
5. 6 i think, and it looks like one per level, 2 every five levels. I saw a formula for it somewhere.

2) Can you use any weapon skill with any weapon? For example, using Damnation (Thaumaturge skill) while wielding a sword? I don't know

3) How harsh are the penalties for using cross-disciplines skills? Like a Gladiator casting magic or a Conjurer using Provoke? Cross discipline skills have more of a penalty I hear. It may be more or less depending on the skill. I don't know.

5) How many actions points do you start with? And how many do you earn as you level, more or less?

Some skills are weapon/class specific, some are not. I could use Red Lotus (a sword skill) on my Conjurer. Speed Surge requires a polearm, but I'm thinking it's a job ability and not a weapon skill since it doesn't require TP.

Thanks for the answers, everyone.
Right now, the question that's killing me is question number 4.

Can someone playing as a Marauder confirm whether Bloodbath works with spells or not, if it's not too much trouble?

From what I've seen, there are no penalties if you wear heavy armor as a mage.
I wonder if this will mean everyone will be running around with nothing but plate armor...
Anyway, if someone could confirm this, much appreciated.

so far from what i've seen of the gear, dont think there's a penalty, but the bonuses on them are slanted toward particular classes like heavier armor is more vitality and resistance, while robes giving more magic acc, some clothes also give bonus to crafting

Great, it makes all the class building concept a lot funnier. I can finally see why SE labelled the game as a "classless system".
Thanks for clearing that up.

If someone could verify Bloodbath affecting spells, it'd be awesome.
