When looking at the ingreedients you need do you find that changing to DoL is enough to get them or do you feel the need to go out and kill some?

I'm gessing that you can only get crystals from fighting so please only take into consideration other ingredients.

Actually you get crystals from mining/logging/harvesting as well.

To do a long stretch of crafting, I would say would probably be a bit difficult harvesting everything yourself. EXP'ing and npc vendors are definitely going to help with crafting. More so vendors of course, but you do get a decent assortment of drops from killing monsters.

Ya i agree, DOH will be able to be ok. You also get ingredients from Guildleves that you do and from Local Leves as well. Their are plenty of stuff for DOH to do to get items.

Local Leves are basically quests. They give you a Leve and it tells you wheir to go some times its a person in town or a person at one of the camps.

My initial idea was to only skill up DoH and DoL that was why I was asking about this issue.

Since this doesn't appear to be economically viable as I was looking to be self sufficient with the support of DoL. I am now thinking of using as many leves as possible to support my DoH and DoL and then move on to DoW and DoM to mainly get mats, what you think?

Edited for speling

so you only gonna play every 48 hours? lol

gotta do some 'independant study' if ya wanna advance in the game, i got mining to rank 10 so far and only done leves twice.

i'd make a point to have a main class, sub class, and sub sub class (maybe) to occupy your time, or you're gonna sit there quite bored for a bit.

Oh.. and the economy is gonna be screwy for the first month or so, because you know everyone is gonna jack up prices just cause they can (12k for a rank 1 shield?! no thanks)

Where did I say that?

I said that I am thinking of using the leves mainly for DoH and maybe DoL and then move on to use DoW and DoM to go out farming either solo or in parties.

I think you would be able to avoid fighting if you chose a DoH job like weaving or blacksmithing. Cooking would theoretically require cuts of meat that would require some hunting, lest you bought all your ingredients and used a lot of fish. Tanning is based mainly on leather, so animal hides would get expensive if you weren't killing them yourself.. For me, weaving and botany seem to be the most successful pairing, especially at early levels. I was harvesting tons of moko grass and cotton bolls that got me quite far in weaving. Goldsmithing has been only slightly more arduous, as it takes about 4 ore and a fire /crystal/ to make something like a copper nugget, it can be done though. I have not purchased anything for my goldsmith and I'm a rank 7 in about 3 days of half-assed attention to it.

I wouldn't fear, and I honestly think this would be a totally viable option. When I start leveling my DoH jobs in Sept. I will be mainly reliant on that which I glean from my DoL spoils.

derp derp i speel gud
