So does anyone know if this is what they are planning to use when the game comes out?

It has potential to make download days much faster. Right now its buggy. But ****, I am sure we will all figure it out. I do like it so far.

Edit: (After updating for an hour)
My thoughts so far. I like the new updater. I hope they stick with it. P2P is so much faster than the old PoL system.
I mean they should at least keep the direct option for the people with ISP that cannot download P2P but leave the option there for those who want to or are able to. In the end it really is a much needed improvement over PoL.

They wanted to try something new and make downloading exciting and more challenging.

You just got some surplus download exp, download another game for a couple of days and come back and the download speed should be back to normal.

I think Peer to Peer was a step up from 200 thousand people trying to get updates from the SE update server. It's just a shame that ISP's are cracking down on P2P traffic. It was a good idea.

I'm thinking it works better if your ports are right. I'm not sure what the percentage a players is that understands port forwarding, but I am not included.

Something that is universally easy and does not have the potential for epic failure would be best. At the current rate it will be 4 days for the first file to complete downloading.
