Thank You To Pikko and ZAMFollow

I just wanted to send out a heartfelt thanks for all the hard work of the ZAM staff and especially Pikko.
I can only imagine how frustrating the wait was getting. Pikko has worked extremely hard today sending out beta keys and her little taru hands must be bleeding by now. I take back what I said in the Botanist forums about making Pikko my slave and forcing her to plough the fields of my Moon Kitty.

This would be a great thread for everyone to show their appreciation and send out any thank yous they may wish to pass along. Again, thanks a lot, many of us have been dying for an opportunity since the game was announced in June 09. You've made a lot of players extremely happy today, and I'm proud to be a member of the ZAM forum community.

Great idea acually :) the thread she was postign there available and getting sent, had some thanks for them. but mostly was "can i haz key plz" okay not that bad , just everybodys excitement. So this is a good idea for a thread.

Pikko Spent a HUGE majority of time Sending out thoes emails one by one manually every time for the keys. And I forget who took over but hes doign great too ;). Zam has kept us updates as much as possible about the delays for the keys.

So thank you ZAM and all the admins for your Assistance And perservirence helping us all out :) If you all could be rated up im sure you would be :)

*edit* Vlorsutes took over the sending of emails (he is the lord of stuff after all)

Indeed thank you for all the effort put into running the contest and getting invites sent out, as well as dealing with the stress of being between anxious fans and apathetic S-E.

Thanks Pikko...

I don't even want to think about how long it took to send out all those emails, let alone the pressure of being caught between a mob of anxious zam members and delays from SE.

Once again you're one of the people that makes this site worth visiting on a daily basis.

Yes, despite all the negativity regarding SE's unexpected direction with FFXIV; I am sure none of this in any way affects how grateful we all are to have a chance to test. Thanks :)

I personally want to thank Pikko and the ZAM Community. I am not thanking them for the gift of a key, but for the gift of friendship, community, a place to vent my thoughts and feelings, and a place to call home.

I do thank Pikko and her team for all the work they have put into this project, and eventhough the waters may have been rough at first, I want to sincerely thank everyone for welcoming me, a ZAM newbie poster. I can be opinionated, I can be heartfelt, I can be informational (least I like to hope so at times), and you can almost always guarantee I will try to be fair and truthful.

So in ending I will say this to all newcomers. Please do not think of this event as a loss or the gain of a key, but think of it as an opportunity. An opportunity to share views with friends, gain information that may have escaped you, and a community to share the love of gaming.

Thanks for all the hard work and putting up with rabid fans for a few weeks. I hope all of the ZAM staff got enough EXP from this event to level up. It certainly tested your defenses against hoards of impatient fans. :D

I couldn't agree more. Good job Pikko and Co. on the contest; I hope that everyone else appreciates the 7 hours or so of what had to be mind-numbing boredom otherwise known as "random drawings."

I would think that after the 20th or so name out of the proverbial hat, it lost its novelty <.<

Thank you Pikko and the rest of the staff for putting up with all of us new people, and specifically to Vlorsutes, who I believe is somehow still sending out keys as we speak.

Excellent idea with this thread, it shows just how great this community is. With that being said, I wanna personally thank Pikko and the Zam staff for everything they have been doing in the past, present and going forward. I'm sure they were under a lot of stress with waiting to get the codes out to the winner (mostly due to SE holding them back). All though no official word that they are done handing out keys it would be safe (or not) to assume that they are done (small hope they aren't).

If they are done, it means no beta for me this stage... no biggie. I've waited since they official announced the making of this game many many many m(you get the idea) months ago. I'm not shifting my attention to the open beta thats coming out in a few weeks to get small glimpse in what we are gonna be playing for many months/years to come.

P.S. I originally planned on getting into FFxiv on the 30th when the SE edition was released, but as i was standing in line at Gamestop there was about 7 other people in front of me doing the same thing. Except they went with the CE edition. Can ya guess which one i got..... its not the 30th. I'm hoping they are gonna be having a midnight release. All though i don't post much (can't justify given the same answer to a question that has been answered 40x times all ready in a post)... just know that I'm lurking around and may pop up from time to time.

Sincerely,

The silly one (Sillyhawk)

You guys do an awesome job on this site, so I will add my thank you as well.

Even though I didn't win a key, I loved the contest! However, luck actually did smile on me, as I actually won a key on one of the other FFXIV sites.
