Anybody getting pretty decent gameplay out of their laptop computer? I'm trying to justify buying a laptop as opposed to a desktop computer. Just looking for other people's experiences.

My laptop runs the game... it's definitely not as good as my PC but it'll serve

It scored a 1900 on the benchmark btw if that helps you and has a dedicated video card (nVidia 9800M)

I mean, I'm not looking for the game to be blown out of the water. But I'm playing the game currently on my friend's laptop. And surprisingly the frame rate is just fine with the graphics cranked near max. Only thing is the response is very laggy. Between button press and execution, there's like a 1.5second delay. Granted this laptop has a intel i3 dual core processor... I think maybe a quad core would make the difference. It's 4gigs of ram & a nvidia gforce310m which I'm pretty sure is 1gig.

He bought it for about $700. So if I can get the game to run at medium settings on a laptop for around $900 (after taxes! lol) I'd be pretty **** pleased lol.

Very smooth performance for a laptop on this (got it when it was $200 off). Very pleased but the price can be prohibitively high. Obviously runs any other current game as well.

Everything looks good except the HD 5730. Might still be able to get by with it, not too sure.
