OK, I know I've asked a lot today but if this is right, I promise this is the LAST question!

So I think I've finally found a desktop I'm willing to live with that has the specs required to play this game decently (at least it can as far as I can tell with my limited computer knowledge.) Check out these specs and tell me would you drop $800 on this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229181

Processor:
AMD Phenom II X4 955(3.2GHz)
Processor Main Features:
64 bit Quad-Core Processor
Cache Per Processor:
4 x 512KB L2 Cache
Memory:
4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333
Graphics:
NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 1GB PCI Express Video Card

Please tell me somebody will "ok" this machine!

OK, I notice on these boards when people ask about builds... it ALWAYS comes down to the video card. What's a "proper" video card!? For Nvidia or ATI... which video cards and up are acceptable. I know I don't know a lot but like, are people saying only cards made in the last 12 months will work?

You would be much better served by stating a price point from a comfortable level and a higher end figure. 'Cant preach enough about building your own system from scratch... I personally would never again buy an already built rig

Well... I'm kinda skeptical about doing it myself. Just worried it won't come out right. I'd honestly like somebody to pick a bunch parts out for me and tell me "take this stuff and put it together" and MAYBE I'd try it lol.

I'm not trying to spend over $900 (after shipping). And that needs to include the OS. I still have to buy a moniter (but I'm gonna do the moniter on a CC. I have $900 cash to work with at the moment...

nVidia: GeForce GTX 460 or better
ATI: Radeon HD 5770 or better

EDIT: Some cards lower than this might perform okay on lower settings, but if you're going to spend the money, better to spend a little more and get GOOD performance than cut costs on parts that will need to be replaced a year or two later.

It's pretty simple to build a PC, just get someone to order the parts for you so they are all compatible. Parts can only go in one way, they are all keyed for the most part. If you need help with a parts list, PM me a budget and I can help you out.

If you need to know how to build one, just click on my name to the left of this post and go to my journal. I have a step by step walkthrough in there.

I'm using a 9800gt in my old computer, only because my wife is playing on it. If it were me, I don't think I could deal. Definitely get a different vidcard.

Save yourself the $9.99 for the grounding wrist strap.

Just finished building my rig, and as long as you touch the bare metal of your case with both hands before installing other components you won't have to worry about static discharge.

Your MB support LGA775,
but your CPU is LGA1366.

You better double check because they are different as I recall.
