Adjust the resolution of menus.
The main screen resolution for "FINAL FANTASY XI" is dependent on the "Overlay Graphics Resolution" setting.
If the Overlay Graphics Resolution is set higher than the Menu Resolution, menus will be automatically resized.

I thought of it first:

Yep saw this awhile back. If you run triple monitors and fullscreen the video it will scale across all screens properly. I can vouch for ffxiv in nvsurround, its absolutely amazing and I sometimes stop and just look @ the view.

I didn't make the video and I'm not in the beta so I'm not worried.

How does FFXIV handle wide displays? Do you set aspect ratio manually or does it just auto configure by assuming square pixels?

Is it possible to do a 5 monitor super-wide display? (I've seen 5 monitor wrap arounds before and I was wondering if FFXIV can support this)

EDIT: One way to find out is to set it to a 3200x480 window and see if the aspect ratio is correct. If it is then wrap around support is a go.

What i want to know, is if anyone got a similar program to run 2 monitors on an Nvidia card. I tried SoftTH, but it doesn't seem to work. Nvidia Surround does not support 2 monitors in this fashion. I know that 3 monitors is an optimal solution, regardless, i'd still like to see what it looks like with just 2 monitors.

It doesn't really "ruin" it.

You could do that with 2x 5890's but one of the monitors would have to either use Panellink or use a panellink to DVI/HDMI adaptor.
