Yep, levequests are stupid, boring and easy. SE sucks for making such a lame game that doesn't require grouping at all.

Look at how we pwned the mobs.

haha yea leves can get pretty tough. I was in a party of 6 and we decided to do 4 star leve at skull valley, little did we think of strategizing, we ran in there guns blazing, everyone with their head down just mashing buttons - after a couple wipe outs...well lets just say we learned the hard way, but we got back to form and finally managed to finish it. People saying leves are easy haven't got past Bearded Rock yet.

Lol for a split second there, before I saw the piccies I thought 'here we go another complainer!' The system does seem to need a little tweaking though. Everything up to 3 star is too easy, four star on certain leves can be tricky and 5 star even with an alliance (I've had max 10 people here though) can be deadly, again depending on the mobs in the Leve. One factor that is difficult to quantify so far is that if your rank is high sometimes even the 5 stars are silly easy - Skull valley when I'm rank 25 on 5 star for example. Belieive me Olorinus I've been in same situation as your party many times!

Most of the times since start of Beta 3 I have done Leve's with other players - makes things much more fun and I seem to find more bugs that way!

No they are not boring - lol. I think (I hope I got this right?) the OP wasn't saying they were bad and boring, but quite the opposite :)

I find the Leves to be boring if you apply the same things to them everytime. By this I mean the same class, higher and higher rank each time you do the Leve every 48 hours, and 1 star!. Playing these Leves solo after a few days does get a little repetitive - however - If you factor in differnet people playing, different classes, different number of stars it can get interesting. Honestly on 'Levenight', I spend hours and hours doing Leve's, some are repetitive some are not, but each time I play I find different things that makes the Leve interesting. The only problem is that if you are sharing them with a group of people/friends they can take your whole evening very easily!

I'm confident that SE will have enough Leves available to keep people happy and don't forget that the Leves gives rewards that are not only just gil, but gear, marks and faction points...these things link to better things such as Factionleves which are NM battles with better gear. This is a much better system for the casual player as over time, we can fight NM with decent drops without having to do 24 hour camps or be part of a massive end-game LS.

Hey thats my linkshell! :P

Some leve's are insanely hard. Some are jokingly easy. It's like you get certain leve's at certain camps. Starting camps / leve's are cake, others... not so much.

Sounds like they haven't gotten the difficulty curve sus'd out quite yet. I wonder if it has anything to do with limited armor and weapon availability? [maybe at least a contributing factor?]

I've been wondering that as well. That is one thing we really didn't get a feel for in the beta, how often SE thinks we will need to replace our gear. If the item db wasn't taken down we could try and figure it out.... but go figure.

Those starting leve's are more like a tutorial than anything. Wait to until you start doing Bloodshore leve's.

My son said he was doing the Bearded Rock leves at legion level so I tried a Skull Valley on at party level and died 3 times trying to complete it. I didn't realize the wolves had set up camp and sent out the inferno bird to pull me to it.

Dude, when the h4rdc0r3 l33tist said that that quest was so easy that you could do it in your sleep, I don't think he meant for you to take it literally!

My first time doing skull rock was amazing.

Spoiler alert.

I always cast shock spikes on myself and party since i learned how potent the stun is on it. We were doing the Pyro quest. Ran in, blasted him a few times, and he ran away. We were like oh man this is amazing, and we chased him down, he went into the cave. I am pretty sure I yelled hes got nowhere to go. I ran in first, as a mage.... silly me. The wolves came in and started to attack, Lucky the stun lasted for a long time on them. I mean long enough for us to figure out what the **** was going on. I died at the last second but I never had such a rush.

The first attempt ended pretty badly, those things hit like a **** truck and with four of us, we got pretty thoroughly thrashed. They will also link mid-battle.

The second attempt, it looked like we were doing to have it but then they linked mid-battle again and Rigel (Olor) got her face beaten in.

The third attempt went a lot better. 3/4 of the group was dead and I soloed the thing to about 1% before it killed me.

The fourth attempt, Kate joined in but we learned that she couldn't target the mob since she wasn't in group when we started. IT couldn't target her either, so we couldn't return, since she was "in combat" and neither she nor the mob could do anything.

It was still pretty fun, but yeah...those things suck lol

This one deserves a rate-up.

I've been losing faith in SE with all the complaining recently... Hopefully they will not disapoint.
