Hey guys,

I´m was a Final Fantasy XI player and i want to be in FFXIV as soon as possible. The problem is i that i live in Brazil and any stuff takes some time to arrive here by mail. So, if i have to wait until the DVD comes i will take at least one month to start playing.

Well, do anyone know if Square Enix will sell the game by downloadable version (like Steam or EA Download Manager)? Are there more people with the same problem i have?

Thanks,

Daniel

if u have family here in NA what you could do is prob download the game via a torrent site.. and having a family member buy the game for u and email u the box serieal code needed to start an account

Just so you know, with the beta you can just copy the SE folder. They don't use any registry entries, so just moving the beta folder from one computer to another works just fine.

By the way, if you trying to get the game from the UK I think you should also need to get the torrent from the same region. I remember buying the expansion for FFXI that included Whitegate online and it ended up being an american version which I couldn't use so had to buy another EU version for it.

Boa Sorte.

This isn't the case at least with beta. I have an EU SE account, but downloaded the 'US' beta client from fileplanet, which included all languages.

Actually, Steam offers the FFXI Ultimate Collection bundle for about $10. XI's quite an old game, though, so I'm skeptical that XIV will be available as a downloadable purchase even in the next couple years.
