i have been looking over a lot of forums for dif. Q&A trying to learn as much as i can before the game comes out i do know that some cant not be answered but here is few questions i have if anyone can help.

1. does anyone know the date that they will open the open beta i just keep finding its sometime at 1st of sep.

2. is the drops in ff14 any better then 11 so far it seemed like you would have to farm for days to get something done in 11 i have not played it in a few years but that's how it was when i was playing it.

3. How are the quest. is there a lot of mob farming for lvl's or a lot of quest to go with it.
i didn't mind lvling in ff11 but sometimes was a hassle i do know that they made it where you can solo lvl a lot more but i don't like a grind fest like Aion where you can solo lvl but was just more of a pain & got old way to fast.

4. Mule space. I'm looking to craft a lot along with lvling is there plenty of space i used 2 mules with a lot of storage in ff11 and about 5 mules in wow with their own guild banks so just wondering how is the room space & has anyone seen anything yet to expand it.

1) we dont know exact date, beta site says early september

2) Drops seem pretty decent, after I farm mobs I find a ton of items in my inv for crafting, but since I havent purposefully farmed items, I can't say how they drop when you need them :P

3) Right now lots of mob farming, you get 8 field or battle leve's for 48 hours but hopefully this changes as no one likes the new system. Also in this phase of beta there was virtually no NPC quests aside from the main story segment, I believe I read more of those will be opening up with open beta but I'm not sure. Right now grouping is unfortunately bad, but SE said they are working on it as a priority so I hope its fixed soon. Also, since we arent too high in beta mostly, its hard to tell how it is later (XI we solo'd at beginning too)

4) You have 80 inv spcaes, key items and crystals/shards are in seperate slots that dont count out of this, each character gets 1 free retainer which is an NPC with a further 80 bag spaces and you can leave him with bazaar open on a market ward to sell your items (you can online or off and he/she will be there to sell your stuff :O

good info so so far in beta is there a lvl cap or what is highest lvl around i now a lot areas are not open yet just not sure how far you can actually go. i do know right now they have no such thing as nin or sam but anyone now if they are or will come out with prestige classes such as them. dont sound like in 14 you can sub class like 11 either say sam30/war15 is this the case or is it more of a tree build where you lvl skills that you want ?

Ive only played for 5 days before supposed ending of phase 3. I barely fought mobs all i did was gather and craft and leves for gathering and crafting and I got to physical lvl 20 Miner 10 Botany 13 Fishing 8 and all DoH to a minimum lvl 5. Was a ton of fun and Im not sure if I saw surplus xp but I did notice that my physical xp numbers were yellow which happened at about physical lvl 15ish.

THAT would be the beginning levels of surplus (for your Physical Level, you switched enough to avoid it on a specific Class).

2. is the drops in ff14 any better then 11 so far it seemed like you would have to farm for days to get something done in 11 i have not played it in a few years but that's how it was when i was playing it. This can't really be told right now since much more equipment and items may still be added.

3. How are the quest. is there a lot of mob farming for lvl's or a lot of quest to go with it.

Again can't really tell anything on this yet. The guildleves are the major implementation of quests in the beta, but these are a new system and not your standard quests. More regular quests are supposedly going to be added later. Right now there is a good amount of grinding, this may change who knows. Square Enix has said they are still adjusting XP gain btw.

well i have read a lot that more and more people are solo lvling i for one like to party at times solo at times. when I'm just wanting to chill & mess around some of the party benefits seem to be good or going toward the right direction what are you all thought on the matter of partying vs soloing i know usually 1-10 is always solo but after that does it seem to balance out some
next how is the loot system for partying does it seem to be ok like in 11 or new rules ? someone was posting on here they got ninja'd just wondering if this is possible or is it maybe the way he had his loot set?
so far, as far as i can see. the game is really looking good just few kinks as normal they need to work out.

not sure if you all can post anything about this but how is 2nd are on with mob seem to get a lot harder as you go though a little ways?
