Looks like they are finally implementing these into the game.

I'm really grateful for this one:
/targetnpc Targets the closest NPC or monster within a certain radius.

Also, you can use command lines for emotes so no more scrolling through a list.

Edit: I didn't want to copy and paste them all into here but they are available on the beta site.

Not that I don't believe you because I was pretty sure they would be doing it, but where did you get that info from? I noticed on beta /<command> was displayed in purple on the chat bar, which tells me the command for it was there but the actions just weren't displayed yet, (otherwise i'm sure you'd see some sort of syntax error displayed). Just not sure if you came across something recently or thought the same from beta, because i'm more than sure it will be there as well.

*Ah after I typed this you edited it with where you got it from.

LOL I can see myself using that a lot... just for the heck of it. meh.

Quote:
/upset Express disgust.

This was so misleading at first... I hate this emote. I remember when I was playing XI, my friend died while I was on WHM (oops) and I used /upset, because I felt bad about it. It ending up as "Kainase looks at friend disgustedly" or something =_=

another thought,
perhaps I miss it on the list.

I dont see the CTRL+R for replying a tell.
thats more annoying than no text commands for emotes.
Im guessing they want to limit us on communicating, so we can spend more time grinding...
Yes, that must be the case

Especially considering they already said you can give your friends nicknames and use that for tells instead.

Did we ever figure out what the line limit of a macro was?

Because I really want to make an 'auto-attack' macro, that will

/action <t> 'basic attack'
/wait 4
/action <t> 'basic attack'
/wait 4
/action <t> 'basic attack'
/wait 4
/action <t> 'basic attack'
/wait 4
/action <t> 'basic attack'
/wait 4

So that I can say something during combat without stopping my actions.

It's a 10 line limit. I doubt that will ever change. But you can make upto 100 macros, so it shouldn't be an issue.

<r> Displays name of most recent /tell sender.

Not sure if this will be used for replies or not. Also, they have a /friendlist and /check. Not a whole lot of info on these other than what's on the list.

Anything that's more than one word has to be in quotation marks. Also, capitalization counts.
