But at this rate surplus thread fatigue is setting in and we eventually won't be able to gain any additional surplus threads until next week.

Puppy, I find your twitter message to be accusatory and unnecessary. I unsubscribe you, sir!

Are you sure it's not a mistranslation?

That's not possible as Elmer was involved.

Rate up! Just for good measure. :p

Open beta can't come soon enough. At least that should give people new things to talk about besides surplus.../cross fingers

Well, there is your problem. You are following Puppy and not Puppy1. Simple mistake.

The only reason that the start of Open Beta will coincide with fewer Surplus Xp threads is because it's a new week and surplus fatigue has been reset. :P

Don't worry, many people here should be approaching the Words Posted limit soon (the number of Words that can be posted by a normal player in 8 hours of forum-surfing). Now, that doesn't mean they'll be automatically cut-off from posting, just that only a percentage of what they want to post will actually be usable, the rest of the words going into a surplus forum that the staff will figure out what to do with later. The percentage of the posts that are usable diminishes until none gets posted. At that time we'll get maybe a few days with fewer surplus threads while those posters wait for the weekly timer. Now this only works within this section of the forums, they can easily go and make other surplus threads in other forums.

You know...it doesn't work for a game but sometimes I think it would work on game forums.
