Things like the name of your cat and your favourite video on youtube. Endlessly dissecting the game only lets us get to know each other so much.

I'm not a cat person, but I want an English bulldog named Gimli. Wife likes the dog idea, but not the name.

My favorite Youtube video.

this video... is interesting me. hilarious

What would she want to name it?

Seeing as how I got her into Mario games on the Wii, she'd be OK with me naming him Bowser. She doesn't like LOTR, which is why Gimli is out of the question.

Bowser is a pretty good compromise.

A few days ago I shredded a rat that had decided to chill on the serpentine belt of my car. I heard a bang, killed the engine and popped the hood. Fur and rat bits everywhere, including a leg and part of an intestine dangling from the underside of my hood. Yesterday, I was outside having a smoke when a bird flying overhead dropped dead and fell on the sidewalk right in front of me. Apparently, I have the power to inadvertently kill small animals with my presence.

Random Chat?

Hmmm. Looking for cool PC parts i found out that my favorite PSU is gone and not being made anymore.
ABS Tagan BZ Series BZ1300 1300W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817814011

Im using that now and love the modular connections which are lighted with different colors.
Very powerful and coolest looking one ive even seen/owned.

Don't know if i should try to find another (they are very rare now) or just get something else that im checking out:
KINGWIN Mach 1 ABT-1220MA1S 1220W
http://www.kingwin.com/products/cate/power_supplies/abt_1220MA1S.asp
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817121040

Very hard to find a modular "led" psu for over 900 watts but the kingwin one looks great and im go with that.

This is rather unfortunate. Perhaps battle something where you perform differently; more akin to samurai using TP and skillchains, then consider damage and hasting melee hits if you're not enough! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4K6c8KXHck

It's simple to be warmer than zero! (store-tp over haste in a water-based mentality)

Here's a diagram of my samurai setup:

TP

......................<\
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,/))))))/ <- PLATE MAIL
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..( ^ ^ )
.............<<<))))))))))>>>>
............#!#% ##)))## ##!% <- 2 MORE PLATE MAILS ON EQUIP SCREEN
..........{| | !#%#%! | |}
................... [ ] <- HAIDATE but it's kitty pants (^%^MEANT)
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
.................... / ] <- Leather HIGHboots

WS

......................<\
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,/))))))/ <- PLATE MAIL
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..( ^ ^ )
.............<<<))))))))))>>>
............/!/# ##)))## \#!\ <- PLATE MAIL AND AF+1x2=?
.........., , !#%#%! ; ;
................ & && && <- HAIDATE+1 I MEAN HACHIRYU DUN B JEALOUS
.................&&& &&
................._/ \_ <- lvl 1 WHM boots (SOMETIMES CALLT RSE)

Now you can see my DILEMMA, I appear top heavy just walking around it looks like I'll topple over in haste. When I am pwning on a monster as is the norm, I basically disappear and then reappear and the monster is dead. I never even see my WS unless I don't click a 2nd time to go into hybrid+defense mode unless I need to click a 3rd time to go back to the start in my flow pattern for ANOTHER WS! I program all WS and basic attacks differently since that's all we have; it currently takes 3+ macro books of the 20 depending on subjobs and etc but 'eh I'll simple down my playonline macros to 1 book per job perfectionism or 20 buttons of max gear macro utilization when I lvl the crummy jobs like thf, blu, mnk, rdm, nin.

Anywho, which do I delete from blinking my character for personal enjoyment (pick 3!): Askar/Dusk/Noritsune/Myochin*, Byakko's/Hachiryu/Myochin+1, Fuma/Enkidu/Saotome/Myochin+1/Usukane/Amir.

Remember, it's 4 gears per button press maximum http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGJlLQG-mWQ&NR=1, with a flow pattern suitable to playing samurai joining allies+gameplay+gear+macros. At all times available and visibly present. No mistakes needed, no omnipotence reticent, and no need to use any menus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ftw7G0ftA60 Is it Samurai?

*Myochin/Saotome will remain on job abilities always, and when applicable! X-hit could be so much more fun than S-hit but is way harder... oh well. Maybe next year! <3

I'm sitting here watching the local news, and they had a fluff story about a bacon fest over in Kansas City with a bacon-eating contest. I am split over this: I'm sad that I missed such a thing, but seeing as I'm trying to drop about 60 lbs, it's a very good thing I did!

For this to work you actually need some other food, then the bacon on bacon can be applied as many times as you want. In the pictures Geffe posted you can see that they began with a bun.

Reverting back to the pokemon topic. I love the general idea of the game series but I cry at how it's executed in such a way for me to not enjoy it. I think if someone made it into an MMO, gave it a bit more substance, a better story, and called it something other than pokemon it might break some barriers.

The problem with a Pokemon style MMORPG is the alleged rarity of some of them. Suddenly Mewtwo is a lot less rare when EVERYONE has one.

And everyone would be running the same cookie cutter teams. Not that most MMO's don't have their cookie cutter's, but I could see it turning into 3-4 standard set-ups that EVERYONE uses.

I hunt. For the past month or so I've been scouting for deer and turkey, practicing with my bow like crazy and today I just got my gun zero'd.

Bought two new camo sets this week. One for October and the other for after October when the temperature gets near freezing and below. Hoping to get me a turkey while I wait for bow season to officially open here in michigan.

September & October's set. (while it's still warmer) I have matching hat and pants too. Military BDUs.

November - December's set. (the pics are lil different, my stuff matches exactly.

I fail to see how either of those statements differ from the current games. Everyone you currently play against through that new-fangled wifi connection has that legendary pokemon and has that cookie cutter setup. There are ways around both though, people are just too unimaginative to think around these problems.

I just want to say, in my boredom while waiting for release, I've read the first 3 books (just barely into the 4th now) of George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series. I know talking about BOOKS is probably blasphemy in a videogame forum, but if anyone here reads fantasy, they're an absolute must read. Hands down best series I've read.
