I've been out of FF for some time, closed my account 2 years ago now. I'm wondering what's a good way to start looking for an active linkshell that's planning on setting up in XIV?

There are already a couple sites recruiting. I have a link in my sig to an FFXIV LS, and I know there are a few others around as well.

Also, you may want to ignore the recruitment posts of people with less than five total posts. Most of them seem to think that now is a good time to recruit for "endgame" and "raids" and stuff like that. These people have a noticable lack of FFXI in their posts, which would suggest they do not know or understand their target audience.

Are you specifically looking for an extant FFXI linkshell that will be transitioning over to FFXIV? Or will a new FFXIV linkshell do?

I'm afraid that we don't have a recruitment forum here yet, but recruiting threads for the new game pop up here from time to time. Here are couple of them:

Hope that helps.

EDIT: The second one is Ralrra's. Apparently he snuck a post in before me. Smiley: tongue
