Ok I have searched around everywhere trying to find thes answers maybe someone can tell me. I am sure others that have not played Beta and are new are wondering the same thing. At the begining of the game do I choose only 1 class or can I choose a hybrid? Also say I chose Alchemist as my starting class do I not have any battle skills? Finally my last question is if I go DOW then change to a DOL can I still use the skills I gained while I was a DOW without switching back or do I have to switch back to DOW in order to do it? I am sure I am not the only 1 that is wondering this so any help would be great.

1. When you create your character, you can only pick 1 class to start. The system then will give you the main hand weapon/tool for the class you picked. After you start your game, as soon as you buy other weapons/tools from a npc vendor and equip them, you'll be able to switch your class right away.

2. I'm not 100% sure about Alchemist, maybe you can change the Ability list in the other thread, but when I started as a Blacksmith, I only had Throw Rock as my battle skill, which would always deal 1 damage.

3. In the skill list, there's description for every skill you learned, and it'll also show you if you can equip this skill on any other classes. As far as my experience, all DOW combat skills could only be used by another DOW class. However, as a miner, I learned one skill that would give my next attack a chance to stun the opponent, that I was able to equip it on my DOW class. So I think for all DOL/DOH classes, they do not have any skills that can kill mobs, but they do have some skills to help them run away from mobs.

Without trying to be unpolite if you read any posts besides surplus/fatigue in the last 2 to 3 weeks you would have known the answers to your questions easy...

On the other hand since you cant use the search it's just not expected to you to go through thpse last week's posts, you would probably just give up on playing it.

I have a question too if I may. When you level up a class you can use the abilities from that class while using another class? Are there any restrictions on this? I realize it's a very basic question but it was never made clear to me.

Why would anyone look under fatigue/surplus for a question on class abilities?

Let me give you an example.

Say I leveled up my Pug to level 3, and I learned Concussive Blow. Then I switched to a level 1 Lancer, when I go to my Action Menu (this is the place your equip your abilities/skills on your action bar), it'll show that my current class is Lancer, and lists out my Lancer skills. When I click on an empty slot on the left window, then from the drop down list on the right window, I select Pugilist, then I'll be able to see my Pug abilities/skills. When I go through each ability/skill, it'll show something like this:

Concussive Blow
TP cost: 1000
Recast time: 10 seconds
Available to Disciple of War and Disciple of Magic

So since my current class is Lancer and I'm a DoW, I'm now able to equip Concussive Blow to my Action Bar.

If you see an ability or a skill that is only available to Hand-to-Hand weapon, that means this skill can only be equiped by Pugilist.
