so i was downloading the open beta the first update was fine, the second update was not, it finished downloading then started installing then my anti virus picked up a virus named dos/ssr or something like that, and the update ended with an error and when i clicked ok to end the installation while my anti virus was disinfecting it, the anti virus said file not found. the risk level wasn't, high, low or Medium it said severe

i'm a little concerned about trying to update again

and no i didn't not download this from a malicious site i went to the link located on the official site where it says beta application and clicked download before they took the download off the site yesterday.

any suggestions on this matter?

also i scanned my computer with all the best antivirus and anti malware nothing came up

It is a false positive. The open beta client does not have a virus attached, many other people from the closed beta had the same issue.

Disable your virus protection or allow it to continue when it pops up.
