ZAM’s FFXIV Database Hits Open BetaFollow

As many of you know, our items database had to be taken down a couple of weeks ago and the ZAM dev team has been working nonstop to remedy that. With Open Beta set to (hopefully) start today, we've launched sections of the site that give you a look at how the database will look as open beta progresses.

The database autopopulates quickly as we see stuff in the game, and every refresh will have new info once the game is up. If you would like to help us by confirming leves, mobs, local leves, NPCs, items, and recipes, you can email us at ffxivteam@allakhazam.com.

I noticed that some of the gear is in the wrong section. Ring finger contains earrings, full body armor contains a bow. Maybe it's just me. I'm just glad it's back though. Thanks

Ticket is already in for the bows/armor error. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.

To those who are already playing, if you accept a guildleve, please post the name of it here and I'll activate it on the site.

Redirects are now active from the wiki, so coding and redlinks should all work now!

Note: Please don't use FFXIV Weaponskill, as that is not a valid namespace. Use Ability for everything.

2 recipes I got from leves, couldn't find them in database yet:

Recipe for: Grilled trout
Ingredients: Rainbow trout x1, nutmet seeds x1, table salt x1

Recipe for Copper nails
Ingredients: Copper nugget x2

No mention of crystal or level needed.

wow its been so long i wasnt sure if this was really the allakhazam site but now i see a post from pikko....without you i would never have made so much gil off of platinum nuggets and such, lets hope we can do some killer gardening in this new game, I will help how i can. the only recipe i have that i havent seen posted is....

Crayfish balls-1xcrayfish/1x D.water/1x Iron Acorn/1x Rye Flour

Since im a fisher this will help but i have yet to catch a crayfish now lvl 8 fisher in the fishing town...new to beta.. maybe cuz its all saltwater so far.

Thanks hanibalz! I added the recipe.

I'm still confused over the use of shards. A recipe I did for a leve said I required a fire shard, but my pack said 0 in the recipe interface, but I was able to make the item anyway. ?!?

As far as I understand the local leves (crafting) will provide you with ingredients and crystals needed. Sometimes you get them directly from the leve npc, sometimes you have to speak to another NPC first.

Just an advice, to make it easier to find a specific ability/guildleve and such I think it would be better to have them divided between classes.

I wish I read this earlier >< I thought I had to give up on the orange juice leve because I had no more lightning shards to synth with.

For the DB, in addition to info on mobs, npcs, leves, etc. Are you taking screenshots as well?

Havent seen this one yet for you fishers it seems to help alot for grade 2 fishing lvl 10ish, every synth so far i have got a +1 on it so maybe it was intended that way,

Goby balls-1x distilled Water/ 1x rye flour/1x bloodworm/1x merithor goby...Seems lvl 10ish

took me forever to find out rye flour was an alchemy recipe 4x rye...I think i spent an hour last night trying to cook rye with egg and butter and water, i even tried straw combos,lol

If i want to help add a recipe missing from the database how could i assist?

I found the recipe for Hemp Shirt which isn't in the list.

Hemp Shirt (Front) x1
Hemp Shirt (Back) x1
Hemp Sleeve x1
Hemp Yard x1
Rat Fur Shoulder guard x1
Sheep Leather Strap x1

I try to syn it at lvl 11 weaver/6 leatherworker and was sucessful so the recipe is correct (i forgot to write down how many crystal)

To make Rat Fur Shoulder guard

Rat Fur x1
sheep leather strap x1

Bronze nuckles = lvl 13 H2H weapon can be craftet @ lvl 12 blacksmith main and lvl 12 leatherworker sub
1x bronze ignot , 1x buffalo leather , 1x buffalo leather strap

iron needle min lvl = 15
iron nails min lvl = 13
bras head knife blade min lvl = 15

The recipe for sheepskinn targe is wrong can`t craft it with the mats listet .
the recipe for bras head knife is wrong .

The best and most effective way to submit corrections is to comment on the item/recipe/mob pages. I give rate ups too! ;)

On launch, will there be more recipes than there are now? At the moment, the recipes are pretty sparse. And they gonna auto populate like the items do, or will it be a slow process of adding them by hand?

An Admin will have to do that. PM one of us with the name and location of the mob (would love a screenie too if you have them!) and we'll add it. Please, only mobs that you've confirmed yourself. We can't add things that have been, say, fished out of the .dat files and are not in the OB yet.

Thanks for all your work on the database, it's really nice. :) I'm going to go on a Botany spree today, hope I can help add some stuff. :D
