First of all, I read the building post a few times over before posting this, but this is the first time i'm ever building a PC myself, so I was hoping to get a few people to check out the build before clicking alot of buy buttons.
Some of the pieces I chose were because of where I live, which is Japan. Most PC parts can be purcahsed over here, but a few things such as cases, are tricky. I'm sure i'm bound to have made a few newbie mistakes, so be gentile haha.
Budget: 700 - 1000 dollars (hopefully closer to 700 so I can get a monitor too for under 1000
Case : Coolmaster Cm690
Mobo : GIGABYTE GA-P55-USB3 LGA 1156 Intel P55 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
GPU : GIGABYTE GV-R585OC-1GD Radeon HD 5850
Processor : Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor BX80605I5750
Ram : CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
I'm really not too sure about what PSU I need at this point. I'm pretty clueless. Newegg's PSU tool calculated about 475 for my setup as the req watt, but should I go over that? I was thinkin about this one:
CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W ATX12V V2.2 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply
Any help at all can be appreciated. I'm open to all suggestions.
Thanks a bunch
