Exactly when will SE remove the suspension?Follow

Anyone have a theory on when SE will be allowing more applications for the Open-Beta? I'm one of the many who weren't able to grab a key in time, and now I am just pondering when they will allow for more applications. It would be a tad easier for all of us who didn't get in if they would just give us a day and time. But, of course, that would be easy.

What does everyone think? A day? Three days?

Really? I've been getting:

Quote:
Applications for the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test have been temporarily suspended. Please wait until we are ready to accept new applications and then try again.

For the last 3 1/2 hours.

Don't worry, so have I.

This is just stupid.

Just logged in and got the same pretty message I've been getting all morning:

Applications for the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test have been temporarily suspended. Please wait until we are ready to accept new applications and then try again.

If you know of any specific methods to get the key, please share.

Are you just getting the server error screen?
#11nick2412, Posted: Sep 02 2010 at 11:43 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) At this point removing the suspension would be stupid.. There are too many people as it is... Just leave the player base as it is now.. and continue on with OB.. you'll get your chance on release :|

The whole point of OB is to stress test. SE said they would set limits to the amount of players that could log into the servers at one time, and slowly open them up more and more as OB progresses. This may also be why they suspended apps again. Limit the flow till they want more.

You just have to keep trying. There's not really any trick to it, no real way to circumvent what they have in place. Keep trying and keep your fingers crossed.

If it's just the server error message you just need to click back and hit the button again a million times till the login page comes up. Then if you get the server error again you gotta go back and do it again, all the way till it says it sent you an email.

You would think that SE wouldn't release an Open Beta without being prepared for the massive numbers of people wishing to play. On the same note, you would think SE would know how large of a fan base they have!

What does that mean? - Have plenty of d@mn room!

I am very much hoping that this is the case and those of us who haven't received a key will be able to when they open things up more.

Cross your fingers.
