So while everyone is waiting impatiently for the servers to come back up, downloading updates, or trying to get a beta key, what are you doing to past the time?

I'm playing the original Final Fantasy, to see if I can beat the whole series before this pandemonium ends.

Nah, I'm just kidding. No, I'm not.

Drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes and spamming the start button.
I'm too braindead to do anything else at this point.

Comparing screenshots of our desktops/icon clutter with linkshell mates in FFXI, plotting craziness for FFXIV with them whenever it comes back, and wishing I had remembered to buy advil last time I was out because I have a headache from ****. >:

I'm looking over the recent 9/11 videos released by NIST from a FOIA request by International Center for 9/11 Studies. You can see those visual puffs of air or explosions happening before the towers collapsed. Looks like William Rodriguez(janitor for WTC) was right.

That's odd, 'cause it kinda feels like I'm killing myself with it.

I doubt you or William Rodriguez(or me for that matter) knows enough about physics to explain what those puffs might be. A lot goes on when an aircraft collides with a skyscraper, a lot goes on actually when nothing happens at all. Unless you have a PHD I don't wanna hear any speculation about conspiracy theories for 9/11. Our country was attacked, I can't believe that people are so stupid they think our government was behind it.

Well I didn't stay up all night to get a code. I've resorted to sleeping and trying again when I am awake because when I am awake I can't help myself and keep spamming that button only to get nothing but an error page or notice of suspension.

I think SE is testing out torture methods rather than testing the limits of the game.

While I appreciate your patriotism, do we really wanna bring this up right now? I don't think any of us are in the condition to have that discussion. (I know I'm not)

Videogames, remember?

This whole thing makes me nostalgic of the times with previous mmo's, especially during the early days of EQ and DAOC. Almost makes me shed a tear!

working since i need money for the collectors edition ><

When I get off I been playing Mafia 2 which isn't too bad.

It's basically built from the code for GTA 4 but set in the 40s and 50s. You play a Italian gangster named Vito Scarletta who does all the mafia jobs. Like selling cigarette cartons illegally, roughing dock workers up, fighting with other mob factions. Its cool and all, but frankly those 56 Chevy's are hard to drive. They are big, slow and clunky. They also loose control way too easy.

I also played some Starcraft 2 and been practicing with Zerg and Protoss. Great games both, but really I'm just killing time before FFXIV is all settled and squared away. Also looking at upgrading the old PC to a iCore but some of the prices for DDR3 memory are just stupid. I know it's new tech but when you compare ddr2 vs ddr3 in reviews .... it's not that much faster... but it's A LOT more expensive than good ol DDR2.

6 GB kits near $175 dollars? Oh comon!
