Hello everyone,

Since the last update I'm now getting the message saying "Final Fantasy XIV beta has stopped working"

This happens just before the character selection screen. The game was running fine before the last update :(

Is there anyway to fix this?

Thanks

Hmm I wonder what has caused this issue.

I've got this one too, can't find reason for it, have tried to change setting's to lowest but doesn't change anything.
Even updated my videocard's driver's, but that didn't help either.

Could it be a bug or should I try reinstalling game, which I wouldn't like to do :(

I think its because you can't actually log into the servers just yet. You can sign in but when you try to open it past the Start button it crashes. Its been crashing on my Vista since servers went down.

Was it like this prior to servers going down or is it a recent thing?

I have had this problem several times.
Everytime I fixed the problem by reinstalling my video card drivers.

Don't know if this is the cure for you guys, but hey, better than nothing, right?
