Gridania Opening Quest Help.Follow

I hate to ask this, but I started a conjuror in Gridania, and I'm at the step where I am learning the Dance to cleanse me of my Woodsin/Greenwrath. I basically gotta mimic emotes to some kids to 'learn' the dance. However I get to the last child in thw back , her nam is Elyn. I believe she is asking me to wave to her. However nothing happens and I'm getting annoyed. Is the quest bugged? Or am I stupid?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

For some reason you have to do the /lookout emote there...though you may have to wave also...think I did /wave, /goodbye, /welcome...basically anything that could be a /wave...and then I finally did /lookout and that triggered it -shrugs-

Either it's jacked up, or the point was to give you practice trying ALL the emotes until you found the right ones? lol

I got the other just that last one was getting me lol. It was lookout. And I agree i wouldnt have divined that with the explanation given. Thanks for posting the whole thing tho, others having probs will hopefully take a look in here too :) So rates up :D

Anyone else seeing Japanese 'letters' (?) when the NPC's talk to you? They are mostly names of things I imagine from the context. You'd think translations would be done by now lol.
