I run dual monitors, so I enjoy having a game in full screen while I have my misc other programs on another (IE. web browser, voice chat, instant messenger). I've discovered a couple programs to accomplish this task easy.
The first program I use, which I've had for a while, is ShiftWindow.
- What I do is set the game in windowed mode and make the resolution match that of the display I want it to be on and then shiftwindow will take it, align it perfect and make sure it fits the screen showing no border.
The second program I use, which I've just recently come acrossed, is MotioninJoy.
- This lets me plug in my PS3 controller via USB (as soon as my bluetooth usb gets here, wireless) and use it as a regular controller or emulate the xbox 360 controller.
These programs may not be limited to just these uses, but for FFXIV and many other games, I find this very useful and make my gaming experience much more enjoyable.
I found this posted by someone on FFXIVCore and on here. Sadly, I do not remember the names. This is apparently a revision of the Crysis SLI profile that enables SLI in FFXIV.
Use Geforce SLI Profile Tool in order to export your SLI profiles.
- Then add in the code below for SLI in FFXIV.
Profile "Final Fantasy XIV" UserSpecified=true ShowOn All ProfileType Application Executable "ffxivgame.exe" Executable "ffxivwinbenchmark.exe" Setting ID_0x0076e164 = 0x00000009 Setting ID_0x007ba09e = 0x00000000 UserSpecified=true Setting ID_0x00a06946 = 0x000240f5 Setting ID_0x00a879cf = 0x47814940 UserSpecified=true Setting ID_0x1033cec1 = 0x00000003 Setting ID_0x1033cec2 = 0x00000002 Setting ID_0x1033dcd2 = 0x00000004 Setting ID_0x1033dcd3 = 0x00000004 Setting ID_0x10930f46 = 0x00000089 Setting ID_0x1095def8 = 0x02506405 Setting ID_0x10ecdb82 = 0x00040000 Setting ID_0x20fdd1f9 = 0x00000001 UserSpecified=true EndProfile
