In the last hour my game has crashed and lost connection to the game server around 5 times. Anyone else having this issue suddenly? It would happen before but not this often. Just wondering if it's just me.

I haven't crashed the game yet. Try rebooting and/or lowering your graphic settings using the FFXIVconfig.exe in your installation folder and see if it helps at all.

Okay, I'll reboot and I'm installing the latest directx for good measure.

Update your chipset and graphic drivers while you are at it :)

Graphic's drivers are up to date, what do you mean by chipset? Motherboard?

I found my game stopped crashing when I ran it windowed at my monitor's native resolution of 1600x900...and I did get an r0 once, but only once in a few hours of play. The .exe is very picky about things....hopefully that will improve by release.

11 crashes and counting. I am thinking there is a memory leak somewhere...

I went from 1 crash in 2 days to about 12 crashes in 50 minutes tonight.

That's why I'm calling it a night. Not sure what changed.

My wife only got one crash so far, and just recently. My PC is an old WinXP with almost everything at minimum to make it playable. Hers has the ponies to make it work gorgeously. However, I still suspect a memory leak as I am not getting a traditional crash (blue screen or some such), and the crashes have nothing in common. Most recent crash happened in a barren area with nothing on site and no weather. I thought at first it was just a sign that this PC can't handle the game, but there is no consistency in the crashes. It just seems random, which normally equates to a memory leak that windows puts the boots to, killing the program.
