ok so today i was lvling with a friend. he was a healer and i was a melee. i notice that me and him were killing really fast.. but yet no chains. anyone know got a chain yet? or have any info

i also notice that i cant move my arrow keys for the camare .. in my opinion this is kinda dumb .. but whatever ill get used to the new keys

and the auto attack. I Like that i have to manually do the attacks and everything. sometimes in FFXI i was wondering why im just sitting infront of a screen watching my char build tp for i can use a WS.. lol

... soo if any thought just let me know :)

if ur having problems moving the camera u gota use the ijkl keys.

as for chains, i 2 havent see them yet so im not sure if they exist yet or at all.
btw is it just me or does it seem like attacking is some what unresponsive sometimes. i hit the heavy attack button then quickly hit the light attack and it doesn't register it. i take it u can't chain hits together?

if you set your camera right/left keys to D/A you turn with them instead of strafing if that was what you are referring to:)

Cant you remap the keys now through the config in-game? I thought that was one of the new updates for open beta. I'm not sure though because I'm using a ps3 controller O.o

Key mapping? HA! You forgot this is SE. You can only look, not touch the controls...

you can remap the keys however there are "locked keys" such as the arrow keys (sad sad) but what i did was make the camera my numpad and all was well. now its really easy to maneuver!

there are skill chain type things... but people haven't figured them out really yet

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.
