So ya, i DL'd the client. once i try to run it, it says "FFXIV Beta version has stopped working" So i figured my video drivers needed updating, well i tried to update them to the best of my knowledge with not much luck. well i went into the control panel and went to update the NVidia drivers and it said i had the most up to date version. so i tried to update my directX, it also said i had the most up to date version(it said i had either 10 or 11?) either way neither worked. so i went to nvidia.com tried to update from there and the site told me some rubbish about how once in awhile they work with companies (Hewlett Packard in this case) on the nvidia drivers and that i had to go to hp.com. so i did... and not much luck there either. i couldnt find the right nvidia type or the right pc type for that matter. (i found the right series of pc's just no luck with the drivers. at any rate i dunno what to do lol...

ive read a few of the threads here and havent had much luck so i figured id post something and see if i had any luck.

Here is my system info:
HP special edition labtop
vista 64bit SP2
AMD turion64 x2 2.10ghz
DirectX 11
NVidia GeForce 7150M/ nForce 630M driver version 7.15.0011.7991
screen res 1280x800
24gigs left on the HDD with a 500gig ext hdd
4gb RAM
1007mb Video RAM

if i am missing any important info let me know and ill try and find it lol Thanks

1. Run as Administrator (maybe turn UAC off too, I hate it personally)

2. Download latest DirectX Updates: DirectX End-User Runtime. If you get a cryptography service error when it downloads and tries to install get this one: DirectX Redistributable (June 2010).

3. Update your graphics card drivers to the latest.
