Battle Regimens? How?Follow

For the life of me, I can't figure out how BR works. My friend and I spend a short while trying to stack an Archer WS and a Lancer WS (Puncture and something), but -nothing- happened. I mean, not only do they not create a special additional effect, the WSs themselves won't even fire.

We click the BR button to the left of the hotkey. I add Puncture to the list (and the meter appears above the mob's HP meter). He adds his Lancer WS, and the meter appears.

Then the both of us start randomly doing some weird charging (kinda like Boosting in XI) but nothing happens. The two WS meters gradually depletes, then at about 90% left it just jumps back up to 100%.

We get the message "Battle Regimen failed because more than one player tried to initiate it," no matter if ONE person tries to begin it or both of us tries to click it.

After a while we got tired and just went back to the oldschool stomping on cute little animals.

I did some experimenting with Regimens in Beta 2/3. The only moves that I got to work were the basic, 0 AP moves (the one that auto equips based on Class and it's subsequent upgrade).

Try chaining those.

First, hit the Regimen button. Then "use" your attack. It wont fire off, it will "stack" The other player must do the same thing. You'll know this is being done right when a pink orb appears next to the mob's name.

Hit the Regimen button again. This is where it becomes unclear on how exactly it works. When it does work, both your and your partner's moves go off together, giving the mob a special debuff.

Actually after you stack the abilities, they will go off in the order you stack them technically - atm its not working great but when it does work that is what it does - and depending on the order, you gain a different debuff on the mob (or nothing but damage).

Which classes did you manage to chain, and in what order? What were the effects you got?

Lancer and Pugilist and Lancer and Marauder. The debuff was called Regimen of Ruin.

The other thing about triggering BR's (at least in Beta3, haven't done them yet in OB) was you had to 2x click on the regimen to activate it. One person does the activating, they click once, then when everyone's surrounded by the 'red glow', you click/hit it again... and that should trigger it.
